Forge-lady, healer,
here is a lump of ore for your anvil.
Pitted and scarred,
cracks and craters a mute testimony
to past attempts to
pound this crude and damaged lump
into keen steel.
I pray your hammer will do the work
of finally restoring to wholeness
the broken and battered,
torn and twisted
chunk of crippled rock
that is my heart.
Make of me, forge-lady, healer,
a useful tool,
that once again I may do good work
out there in the world
where You send me.

I am very glad you liked it. I have cherished a connection to Her for a long time now; she is one of my longest-running companion deities, and has helped me in too many ways to count.

This is a very lovely prayer to Brigid, woven together in a wonderful way by All Their Voices!
It always warms my heart and brings a smile to my spirit when I find new pieces of praise, of gratitude, of adoration for our Exalted Lady!
May Brigid continue to forge and inspire Excellency from both the writer of this awesome prayer, as well as anyone who breathes this prayer from their very soul in the hopes that Brigid will bless them and theirs!
